What is Web 2.0, anyway? Essentially it encompasses the set of tools that allows people to build social and business connections, share information and collaborate on projects online. It includes blogs, wikis, social-networking sites (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and other online communities and virtual worlds.
How does Web 2.0 affect your business? Today, business are using these tools to help them create visibility, strengthen brand identity, drive traffic to their web sites, improve customer relations, and bring customers together online. This approach highlights a significant shift in the way companies and entrepreneurs are thinking about social networks.
As with any new medium, there will be questions as to which tool, if any, is good for your business. Before you answer that question, you need to know the pros, cons and the secrets of marketing in this virtual world. Once you make the left onto First Avenue, turn left immediately into the hotel parking lot.
